BAMBINO Watermelon Named "One of the Most Amazing Inventions of 2004" by Time Magazine
Oxnard, California, December 21, 2004 –
Bambino personal watermelons developed by Seminis Inc., the world's largest developer, producer and marketer of vegetable and fruit seeds, were named one of the “Most Amazing Inventions of 2004” by Time magazine. The seedless mini fruits weigh 4 to 6 pounds, about the size of a large cantaloupe. Bambino is the culmination of nearly ten years of traditional plant breeding and research.
